Our Business

Investment trust management business

Ichiyoshi Asset Management Co., Ltd manages assets of public and private investment trusts in Japan. Our main products are Japanese equity funds utilizing Ichiyoshi group’s research ability for Japanese companies centered on mid-small cap companies. We also manage funds with external asset managers and funds of funds managed by prominent asset managers located all over the world.

Discretionary asset management and non-discretionary advisory business

We manage assets of our institutional clients including pension funds, financial institutions and investment trusts under discretionary investment management agreements with them. We also have non-discretionary advisory agreements with institutional clients and give asset management advices to them.

Our strong points

We started our asset management business in 1986. We have long history as Japanese equity manager with experienced portfolio managers and have excellent track records especially in Japanese mid-small cap equity investments.

Ichiyoshi Research Institute Inc., our affiliate, is one of the best research companies in Japan for Japanese mid-small cap companies. The asset managers at Ichiyoshi Asset Management utilize their research results for our asset management business.
